Leeds College of Building is one of the fastest growing colleges in the country and continues to expand. Would you like to play a key role in helping the College strengthen its position as one of the best education and training providers in the Country?

The Corporation (Board of Governors) is seeking motivated and dynamic people to join the Corporation and help shape the educational character, strategic direction and mission of the College.

The Corporation includes people drawn from a range of backgrounds and experiences reflecting the community that the College serves. Their experience, knowledge and skills make a vital contribution to the continuing success of the College. The Board is looking for committed individuals who could contribute to the College in this way.

Applicants should be willing to attend Corporation and Committee meetings and to keep up to date with the life and work of the College. It is a highly rewarding voluntary role at the forefront of developments in further education.

The College is looking for potential governors who can bring a high level of experience and expertise to the Corporation from a number of areas including law, quality, community, as well as education and construction. Applications are particularly welcome from Black, Minority and Ethnic groups and female candidates.
