Learner Support

We are committed to providing support and advice for students with a wide range of learning needs.

Our team can provide tailored support, which may include:

Individual learning plans
Specialist staff
Learning support tutorials
Equipment and aids

We are here to make your time at College an enjoyable one, and ensure that you get the appropriate support.

Specialist staff from the Skills for Life team will provide support for all students with a disability or learning difficulty.

In class support is provided by highly trained and experienced support workers or specialist vocational additional support tutors.

Out of class support (1:1) will be provided to help students to discover ways of reaching their potential and strategies to succeed.

Assistive Technology may include software training on Read & Write Gold Text, Digital Voice Recorders, Laptops and Neos. A BSL Communicator is available on request.

All students who disclose on enrolment or at the selection interview will have a private interview arranged with one of our highly trained team members.
