As part of International Women’s Week we are offering free taster sessions to any females interested in learning some basic DIY skills or those who are thinking about a career in construction.

We are offering taster sessions in:

• Brickwork
• Carpentry & Joinery
• Painting & Decorating  
• Plumbing
• Roofing
• Wall & Floor Tiling

The dates and location are as follows:

Tuesday 5th March

• Carpentry & Joinery 9.30am - 12.30pm, North Street site, LS2 7QT

Wednesday 6th March

• Wall & Floor Tiling 9.30am - 12.15pm, North Street site, LS2 7QT

Thursday 7th March

• Painting & Decorating 9.00am - 12.00pm, Millwright Street site, LS2 7QG

Friday 8th March

• Brickwork 9.30am - 12.00pm, Stourton site, LS10 1DF
• Plumbing 9.30am - 12.30pm, Millwright Street site, LS2 7QG
• Roofing 1.00pm - 4.00pm, Stourton site, LS10 1DF

What are the entry requirements?

There are no formal entry requirements, however, you must be over the age of 16 before the start of the course.

How much does it cost?

Nothing, it’s FREE!
