Apprenticeship Recruitment & Work Placements - information for Employers
At Leeds College of Building we can help you to recruit new members of staff and address skills shortages, whether it is a permanent recruit, an apprentice or a short term work placement.
Each year we offer this service to employers who regularly recruit from our current bank of full and part-time students.
We train students in the skills and qualifications that employers need across a huge range of construction trades, including craft and technician roles.
Our full and part-time students are available for interview, most will have completed the first year of their programme and are ready for the world of work.
We can help you with the selection and recruitment process and will only identify candidates who are suitable for your company.
We have students available for each level including apprenticeship, advanced apprenticeship, higher apprenticeship, technician and junior management.

Brickwork, Building Services, Carpentry & Joinery, Civil Engineering, Construction & the Built Environment, Electrical Installation, Facilities Management, Gas Installation & Maintenance, General Construction Operations, Heating & Ventilation, Painting & Decorating, Plastering, Plumbing, Roof Slating & Tiling, Shopfitting, Surveying, Wall & Floor Tiling & Wood Machining.
