Coronavirus Update

Leeds College of Building is now closed and staff are working remotely.

Further information for students, parents, carers and employers can be found here.

Any further announcements will be available on the website and on our Facebook and Twitter accounts, so please do follow us for updates.

Offer an Apprenticeship

We can advertise your apprenticeship vacancy on the government’s National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) website, on your behalf. Candidates who are registered and looking for apprenticeships in your area will be able to make their application either on the NAS website or direct to your business website. If applications are collected on the NAS website, they will be forwarded to you immediately after the vacancy has closed.

We can advertise vacancies on our notice boards around college, or use our knowledge to specifically identify the students that would best suit your team.

If you want someone in a hurry, there may be the opportunity to employ a displaced apprentice or transfer a student from one of our full-time study programmes directly onto an apprentice course.

Get in touch today, email wpo@lcb.ac.uk or call 0113 222 6003.

Offer a Job

As a sought after employer, we would welcome you to come into the College to either participate in one of our regular careers events or give a presentation in our lecture theatre.

We also have many platforms of communication through student specific, internal intranet and email, and externally through all popular social media sites.

We can advertise on our strategically placed notice boards around college or hand pick CV’s based on our expertise.

  • Your staff becoming better skilled leaders
  • Social value targets achieved
  • The advertisement of your business by Leeds College of Building and word of mouth

A placement can be however long you want or need, from a single day to a long-term placement. The days can be flexible and the hours to suit your needs (please note many of our students are limited to public transport).
