Offer an apprenticeship

We can advertise your apprenticeship vacancy on the government’s National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) website, on your behalf. Candidates who are registered and looking for apprenticeships in your area will be able to make their application either on the NAS website or direct to your business website. If applications are collected on the NAS website, they will be forwarded to you immediately after the vacancy has closed.

We can advertise vacancies on our notice boards around college, or use our knowledge to specifically identify the students that would best suit your team.

If you want someone in a hurry, there may be the opportunity to employ a displaced apprentice or transfer a student from one of our full-time study programmes directly onto an apprentice course.

Offer a job

As a sought after employer, we would welcome you to come into the College to either participate in one of our regular careers events or give a presentation in our lecture theatre.

We also have many platforms of communication through student specific, internal intranet and email, and externally through all popular social media sites.

We can advertise on our strategically placed notice boards around college or hand pick CV’s based on our expertise.

Offer a work placement

Students of all ages, studying full-time at Leeds College of Building, are as prepared for the world of work, as possible. The most effective ways of doing this is through a work experience placement!

A placement can be however long you want or need, from a single day to a long-term placement. The days can be flexible and the hours to suit your needs (please note many of our students are limited to public transport).
