This diploma has been designed to assess and verify a candidates knowledge and skills in being able to carry out rigging and moving loads in the engineering construction industry.
On Site Assessment and Training (OSAT) is a process which enables the experienced worker to achieve National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ).
The OSAT process will enable you/your staff to profile your/their skills against the list of skills recognised by the industry.
Suitable evidence is then gathered as part of an independent NVQ assessment of their skills. You/your staff can obtain an ACE card when you have completed an NVQ .
After completing this course there are a number of options available; depending on your final grade you could move onto a level 3 qualification or a higher education course including a HNC/HND, higher apprenticeship or NVQ.

You must have been working in the industry for the last 3 years and had a discussion with the relevant OSAT Trade Assessor.
