What's it all about?
Level 2
This course will include the following:
- Carry out first fix flooring and roofing
- Carry out first fix frames, partitions and stairs
- Carry out second fixing operations
- Carry out carpentry maintenance
- Set up and operate a circular saw
Level 3
This course will cover the following:
- Carry out first fix flooring and roofing
- Carry out second fixing operations
- Carry out first fix roofing and stairs
- Carry out second fixing double doors and mouldings
- Set up and use fixed and transportable machinery
Entry requirements
Level 2
Carpentry & Joinery Level 1 Diploma
Level 3
Site Carpentry Level 2 Diploma
Next steps
After completing this course there are a number of options available, depending on your final grade you could move onto a Level 3 Diploma, into higher education or seek employment.

Financial information
If you are applying for the level 3, are aged between 19 to 23 and you have not already achieved a full level 3 qualification, then your course may be free. If you are aged over 19 and have achieved a full level 3 qualification or are aged over 24 you may be eligible for an Advanced Learner Loan from the government to cover your tuition fees.
