Choose from plumbing, electrical, English and maths. All the courses are delivered by friendly, expert tutors with all equipment and materials provided. All courses are for adults (18+). Some courses are free and funding may be available for others – contact us to find out more.

Electrical

This Level 1 award is ideal if you’re looking to move into the electrical industry. You’ll gain a basic understanding of working safely and competently, and learn processes and operations including:

  • Health and safety within the industry
  • Hand tools operations
  • Connecting flex to common apparatus
  • Cutting, bending, joining and threading conduit
  • Installing one way lighting circuits

Plumbing

Gain a level 1 award and start your career as a plumber. This course gives you a basic insight into plumbing and the competencies and skills necessary to carry out small plumbing processes and operations, including:

  • Health and safety within the industry
  • Hand tools operations
  • Forming capillary joints
  • Forming compression joints
  • Bending copper pipe

English and Maths          

These introductory courses are the perfect way to get back into learning and gain those all-important skills and qualifications wanted by so many employers.
