Become a Shopfitter
Shopfitters make and install the fixtures and fittings in everything from offices and restaurants to shops and bars. They also build and refurbish shop fronts and doorways. They work closely with other tradespeople such as tilers, electricians and plumbers.

Shopfitting is offered as an apprenticeship at Leeds College of Building. You will combine working on site with time in college. Good GCSEs are recommended for calculations and measurements. At Leeds College of Building entry is via an assessment.
Newly trained shopfitters can earn £17,000 - £20,000
Trained shopfitters with some experience can earn £20,000 - £30,000
Senior/master craft shopfitters can earn £30,000 - £35,000
