Thanks to Burton Roofing Merchants who have sponsored the College's in-house competition for Level 3 Roofing apprentices.
Burton Roofing Merchants supply high-quality roofing products including slates, concrete tiles, rainwater guttering and general tools and have been a great support to our roofing students and the College.
The in-house competition is running throughout the year and is open to Level 3 students who want to take part.
The competition consists of two parts, based on their skills and knowledge, which include:
- Part 1 - To complete a pattern of a flower on a vertical surface
- Part 2 - To produce work based evidence including an essay
The winner of the competition will receive a pack of tools, which were kindly donated by the competition sponsors Burton Roofing Merchants, which include a slate pick, slate Ripper and claw hammer.
