Generation 4 Change (G4C) Awards

The Generation 4 Change (G4C) Awards Yorkshire & Humber took place on Friday 3rd March and Leeds College of Building apprentices were in the limelight once again, walking away with 6 awards.

G4C is a regional partner to Constructing Excellence, the single organisation charged with driving the change agenda in construction.

The awards, now in their 3rd year, provide an opportunity for the Yorkshire & Humber region to celebrate outstanding examples of excellence and best practice within the construction sector. They focus on the achievements of the talented young people entering the industry and the organisations supporting them.

Apprentices from LCB received the following awards:

Advanced Technical Apprentice of the Year:

  • Winner - Stuart Hirst, employed by TSP, Advanced Technician Apprentice 
  • Highly Commended - Mitch Naylor employed by Mott MacDonald, Advanced Technician Apprentice 

Higher Education Student of the Year:

  • Winner - Elise Brewster, employed by Network Rail, Higher Apprentice

New Professional of the Year:

  • Winner - Chris Dixon, employed by MWH, Higher Apprentice

G4C Award (Best of the Best):

  • Winner - Elise Brewster, employed by Network Rail, Higher Apprentice
  • Highly Commended - Stuart Hirst, employed by TSP, Advanced Technician Apprentice
