Level 2

This course will cover the following:

  • Principles of machine manufactured joinery
  • Setting and operating fixed sawing machines
  • Setting and operating fixed planing machines
  • Setting and operating fixed jointing machines
  • Setting and operating fixed profiling machines
  • Setting and operating fixed sanding machines
  • Setting and operating NC/CNC machines

Level 3

The course covers the following units:

  • Learn how to produce curved wood and wood-based products
  • Learn how to resolve woodmachining problems
  • Learn how to maintain wood machinery and equipment
  • Learn how to produce wood and wood-based products using computer numerically controlled CNC machinery
