The College is supporting staff to make alternative choices on their journey to work.

Annual Travel Permit Scheme

The Annual Travel Permit Scheme is part of a series of employee benefits within Leeds College of Building.

Under this scheme employees must use the travel permit primarily for qualifying journeys:

  • between his or her home and workplace
  • between one workplace and another

The cost of the Annual Travel Permit would be divided into 12 monthly loan payments which will be deducted from the employee’s monthly net salary.

Employees entering into this scheme will access an interest free loan to facilitate the purchase of the Annual Travel Permit.

Cycle to Work Scheme

The Cycle to Work Scheme is part of a series of employee benefits within Leeds College of Building.

Under this scheme employees must use the cycle primarily for qualifying journeys:

  • between his or her home and workplace
  • between one workplace and another,Employees will be able to receive an interest free loan to purchase a cycle and safety equipment up to the total value of £1,000 (including VAT)

The cost of the cycle/accessories would be divided into 12 monthly loan payments which will deducted from the employee’s monthly net salary.
