Course overview
TPCP1A Testing & Purging course is for experienced operatives who wish to undertake more varied work in the commercial sector.
This course includes training and assessment on the following TPCP1a – Tightness Testing & Direct Purging of installation Pipework.
It covers the skills and knowledge required to undertake tightness testing & direct purging of installation pipework not exceeding 1m³ in volume, 40 mbar pressure and 150mm diameter natural gas only.
Entry requirements
Applicants must hold one of the following:
- Current CCN1 or COCN1 Certificate of Competence
- Initial candidates must be registered with Gas Safe Register
- Current Certificate of Competence for the related category for Re-Assessment
