The information provided in this section will help you decide why Leeds College of Building is in an excellent position to meet your higher education needs in construction and the built environment.
It includes information on the courses offered, including Higher Apprenticeships, Higher National Certificates and Diplomas both full and part-time, together with a range of NVQ and professional institution programmes.
The College is recognised nationally for the delivery of Higher Apprenticeships, which is great for students who want to access work based learning at a higher level, as they will provide a viable alternative to full-time university study.
Our higher education programme provides plenty of career opportunities including planning, design, building control, sustainable construction, site engineering and management, project and facilities management as well as quantity surveying, civil engineering, estimating, structural engineering and building services.
We have excellent links with construction and engineering organisations, both on a regional and national scale, which enables us to align curriculum to the current and future needs of the built environment sector, therefore enhancing our students’ career choices.
In May 2017 the Apprenticeship Levy will be launched, to see how this impacts your business click here.
