This course has been designed for those already working within the Building Services industry as plumbers or maintenance engineers.
BPEC are asking for candidates to confirm they have a Plumbing qualification, or a brief letter from their employer saying they have relevant experience.
The course covers properties of water, with particular focus on how to prevent the harmful legionella pneumophila bacteria, which causes Legionnaires disease.
The course explains how a water system should be disinfected and also lists the chemicals that are used in the process.
Course has been reviewed to incorporate 2 previous courses into one course.

- Risk assessments for landlords
- The process of doing remedial works (Disinfection)
