This part-time course equips you with the knowledge and practical skills required to install, maintain, and service air source heat pump systems. Whether you’re looking to enhance your career prospects or contribute to greener solutions, this qualification helps you stay ahead with modern heating solutions.
This is a nationally recognised qualification in the installation and maintenance of air source heat pump systems. The qualification is recognised by the Micro-generation Certification Scheme (MCS) registration bodies as an acceptable qualification to join one of their respective schemes.
Assessments consist of a combination of practical and theory examinations.

Learners should have a minimum NVQ Level 2/3 qualification in plumbing or conventional heating engineering, or a demonstrable number of years of relevant experience.
