This is a Skill Start course.
This course is aimed at those aged 19+ who are interested in a career in the plastering industry or who simply want to gain some skills in this area.

Level 1 Award & Certificate – no entry requirements, length of course is 9 weeks
Level Diploma – no entry requirements, length of course is 17 weeks (if you have completed the award) or 23 weeks
Due to changes in the way Adult Education is funded, from August 2021 onwards we only accept students who live within the West Yorkshire Combined Authority area or areas not covered by another Combined Authority.
The course covers the following units:
Level 1 Diploma
Level 2 Diploma
The 9 week day time course will give you an introduction into your chosen trade area. After this you will have the option to progress onto a longer programme studying towards a Level 1 Diploma.
After completing the Level 1 course there are a number of options available, depending on your final grade you could move onto an apprenticeship, a Level 2 Diploma or seek employment.
This adult part-time level 3 qualification is aimed at those who have already completed the level 2 qualification or have relevant experience and knowledge of the industry.
On this course you will learn the techniques and gain the confidence to apply high-quality plastering finishes to a variety of surfaces.
This Plastering Apprenticeship is available to anyone aged over 16. Plasterers mix and apply plaster to walls and ceilings of buildings to provide a smooth or decorative finish.
This is a 16-18 year old plastering study programme course, it is for students who are finishing year 11 this year, or for those who have recently left.
