Course overview

This course covers the following areas:

  • Legal and non-statutory hot water systems
  • Unvented domestic hot water storage systems
  • Installation, commissioning and maintenance
  • Sealed heating systems

Grant aided for ConstructionSkills (CITB) registered companies. Train and assess operatives which install and maintain unvented hot water systems containing more than 15 litres of water.

This course provides a 5 year certificate.

Entry requirements

Previous plumbing experience and either an NVQ in plumbing, gas or heating & ventilation or a witness statement from a line manager confirming you have had relevant experience with a site operative.
