T Level
The T Level in Design, Surveying and Planning is a two-year technical study programme designed with employers to give young people the skills needed to progress into a technician career in the construction industry.
Typical roles include architectural technician, building services technician or technical surveyor.
T Levels will offer students a mixture of classroom learning and ‘on-the-job’ experience during an industry placement of at least 45 days.
They will provide the knowledge and experience needed to open the door into skilled employment, further study, or a higher apprenticeship.
Five GCSEs at grades 4 or above including Maths, Science & English.
You’ll also be interviewed by one of our tutors and your school attendance report and reference will be taken into consideration.

After completing this course, several options are available. You could move onto a higher education course at the College, including a full-time Higher National Certificate (HNC), Higher National Diploma (HND) or a Higher Apprenticeship, or progress to university.
In partnership with London South Bank University and with full accreditation for Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), our Level 6 Quantity Surveyor Apprenticeship is available as a 3 year programme.
This Level 4 course provides a solid foundation for those starting a career in quantity surveying. This course covers topics such as quantity surveying practice, construction economics & sustainability and digital applications of construction.
The T Level in Civil Engineering is a two-year technical study programme designed with employers to give young people the skills needed to progress into a technician career in the construction industry.
This Construction & the Built Environment T Level is for students who are finishing year 11 this year, or for those who have recently left.
