Apprenticeships at LCB

Leeds College of Building is the only specialist general further education construction college in the UK. As such, we are at the forefront of apprenticeship development.
We currently work with over 800 employers, from local companies to global corporations, and have around 2,800 apprentices enrolled. This makes us one of the largest apprenticeship training providers in construction nationally.

Our achievement rates are at 76%, putting us amongst the top training providers in the country.

In 2018, we received the Pearson ‘BTEC Apprenticeship Provider of the Year’ award in recognition of our ground-breaking apprenticeship work.

We offer apprenticeship training across a vast range of disciplines, from Level 2 to 6, and have built a solid reputation for our first-rate education and training. We are proud of our outstanding apprentices, many of whom have won industry awards.

Our established links with employers and industry bodies mean the College has successfully launched many new apprenticeships. These include Civil Engineering, Transport Planning and Higher and Degree Apprenticeships in various pathways such as the BSc (Hons) Civil Engineering Site Management Degree Apprenticeship.

Our achievement rates are at 76% putting us amongst the top training providers in the country.
