Course overview

The Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Building Services Engineering is intended as a Tech Level qualification, equivalent in size to two A Levels.

The content of this qualification has been developed in consultation with employers and professional bodies to ensure that it is appropriate for those interested in working in the sector.

It is recommended as a starting point for students who are new or have limited experience in the industry and will provide a very solid base to progress into Higher Education.

We are now offering the BTEC Level 3 National Diploma with a Work Based Learning Employability Portfolio.

Currently there is no level 3 apprenticeship for planners, estimators, contracting quantity surveyors and site technicians, so the course is ideal for those looking to upskill to level 3 and higher.

If you are aged between 19 to 23 and you have not already achieved a full level 3 qualification, then your course may be free.

If you are aged over 19 and have achieved a full level 3 qualification or are aged over 24 you may be eligible for an Advanced Learner Loan from the government to cover your tuition fees.
