Adult electrical courses

We offer courses for adults looking to retrain as an electrician or upskill their existing electrical qualifications, from Level 1 through to Level 3.

Courses typically start in September and the enrolment process starts in April.

Most applicants will be required to complete a basic skills assessment, to assess the standard of Maths and English.

 

Courses

Electrical Level 1 Award & Certificate

  • Suitable for those over 19
  • Adults new to electrical
  • Part-time 15 weeks, 1 evening a week for Award
  • Progression onto the Certificate is available.

  • Suitable for those over 19
  • Change career & retrain
  • Part-time 1 year (day or evening) 
  • Progress to Level 3

Installation/Maintenance Electrician Apprenticeship

  • Suitable for anyone over the age of 16
  • Level 3 standard
  • Must be employed or secured a work placement
  • Get qualified whilst working on the job
