Chris Davis

Architecture Lecturer

Chris was awarded an honours degree in architecture in 1982, getting his Master’s degree in architecture in 1985 and becoming a member of RIBA two years later. He began his career as an architect before spending 25 years as a consultant property developer in both large and small practices.

In 2009 Chris started teaching part-time, tutoring the CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building) night courses before making the decision to focus more of his time on teaching. Chris has now obtained his Certificate in Education and has been teaching full-time for 3 years, specialising in design as a crucial part of the building process. His passion for art and architecture has taken him around the world, inspiring many of his large abstract canvases and lecture topics.
