Architecture Lecturer
Michael qualified as an Architect in 1997 joining RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) a year later and going on to work as Lead Architect on a number of multi-million pound projects. From initial concept through to project completion Michael was responsible for the design development, project running and management of the design team. In fact, Michael’s architectural experience covers many diverse sectors from schools, offices and retail to day nurseries and community centres.
Michael enjoyed his own student days and wanted to experience the learning environment from a lecturer’s perspective, so he moved into teaching. Since then he has been able to pass on the wealth of knowledge and expertise he gained as an Architect. Although Michael’s key area of expertise is sustainable architecture his interests mean he can impart wider industry knowledge of environmentally responsive design and modern methods of construction.
