Leeds College of Building has a longstanding relationship with NG Bailey and in 2012 they appointed the College to help them deliver their apprenticeship programme.
NG Bailey places great emphasis in supporting and developing its people. Apprenticeships are a key part of their approach to developing talent through a rigorous recruitment process, which ensures they recruit and train the very best.
In 2016/17 the company supported 145 apprentices through their training, with an additional 17 staff members studying higher qualifications. This is set to continue this year with 155 apprentices currently on programme.
The company and its apprentices have also been recognised for their commitment to training and development with a number of key awards, including:

This year the College asked Frank Clayton, Head of Group Learning and development at NG Bailey to be the guest speaker at the annual college award ceremony. Frank gave an inspirational speech on the future of the industry, how proud the winning students should be and what a great career you can have in the construction and built environment sector.
We are looking forward to another successful year working in partnership together.
