Apprentice selected for WorldSkills Final

We are delighted to announce that Dan Martins an apprentice for EAS Mechanical, who are a sub-contractor of the College has been selected to be part of TeamUK at the WorldSkills finals in Abu Dhabi this October.

Dan who works for Briggs and Forrester achieved a Medal of Excellence at the EuroSkills event in Sweden in December 2016. The process has taken two years, with Dan taking part in competitions across the UK and in Europe, and last month he had to pass highly testing international standards for the final team selection.
