Higher Level Apprentice Wins Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) Medal

Congratulations go to Kayla Browne EngTech MICE, who has just been announced winner of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) Jean Venables Medal.

Kayla is an Assistant Civil Engineer at BAM Nuttall Ltd and completed a Higher Level Apprenticeship with Leeds College of Building in June 2021.

The medal is awarded to newly qualified engineering technicians for showing exceptional qualities in their Technician Professional Review. Kayla will receive £500 and be presented with the Jean Venables Medal at ICE's Annual Awards Ceremony later this year

The medal is named after Jean Venables, ICE President from 2009 to 2010. Jean made a significant contribution to raising the profile of technician members in her time as president and still works hard promoting them today.
