Thinking of taking on an apprentice?

There’s never been a better time to invest in the future of your company. From 1 April 2021 the government are increasing the value of apprenticeship grants for employers who recruit a new apprentice.

Employers looking to hire can now claim:

  • £3,000 for any apprentice aged 19+
  • £4,000 for an apprentice aged 16-18 or under 25 with an Education Health Care Plan

But it’s not all about the money, is it? As an award-winning provider of apprenticeships in the UK, there are plenty of other reasons to invest in your future with us.

We provide a full range of apprenticeships, from brickwork to civil engineering, including higher apprenticeships and work with employers all over the UK, from smaller firms to global giants. In fact, we partner with over 600 leading employers, so we’re surrounded by experts in every field. Our block-release option has helped students from all over the country join our apprenticeships. We can even help sort the accommodation.

Changes to the apprenticeship service

In addition to the new incentives, from 1st April 2021 all employers are required to use the government apprenticeship service to secure funding for any apprentices they wish to employ. Apprentices will be unable to start their course at college without reserving funding.

The College's Apprenticeship Team can assist you with this process by providing informative emails, YouTube videos and telephone assistance.
