Prime Minister & the Chancellor visit the College

The Principal Ian Billyard and Deputy Principal Derek Whitehead welcomed Prime Minister Theresa May and Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond during their visit to the Hunslet Campus.

The visit coincided with the Autumn Budget where it was announced that the government would be investing in new housing and addressing the skills shortage within the construction industry.

Whilst at the Hunslet Campus Mrs May and Mr Hammond spoke to staff and students within the electrical, brickwork and roofing departments.
