This Plumbing and Heating Apprenticeship is available to anyone aged over 16.
Plumbers install, service and repair water supply, sanitation and heating systems. They also install bathroom suites including showers, toilets and basins.
You should be aged 16 or over and ideally already be employed by a gas safe employer or have secured a work placement, however we may be able to help you with this.
You must have achieved a grade 3 or above in both English and Maths for this apprenticeship.

If you are aged 16-18 and you are unable to find an apprenticeship, you can apply for a study programme and switch over at any point when you do find one.
No matter what level you are currently working at, you will be expected to further your skills in English and maths.

From 1st April 2021 all employers are required to use the government apprenticeship service to secure funding for any apprentices they wish to employ. Apprentices will be unable to start their course at college without reserving funding.
