Leeds College of Building is delighted to now be offering the BTEC Level 3 National Diploma with a Work-Based Learning Employability Portfolio.
Currently there is no level 3 apprenticeship for planners, estimators, contracting quantity surveyors and site technicians, so the course is ideal for those looking to upskill to level 3 and higher. The course is a two-year study programme, and is taught one day a week.
It will explore several aspects of construction, including Construction Principles, Health and Safety, Communication, Construction Contracts, Digital Construction Processes, Tendering, Measurement and Costing, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and Survey Methods and Techniques.
Students who successfully complete the BTEC Level 3 National Diploma will be able to progress to a level 4 higher apprenticeship in various pathways including, construction design & build, construction site supervisor, construction quantity surveying, civil engineering and building services.
Students will have access to state of the art facilities, be taught by industry experts who support them to achieve and can progress up to level 6, with the newly launched Civil Engineering Site Management Degree Apprenticeship.
